Appointments: Your appointment is very important to us! We do reserve this time for you. We ask that you be prompt so that out clinicians may do their best dentistry for you. From time to time, we do have emergencies that arise and will communicate to the best of our ability with you as we value your time as much as we want our time valued.

Missed Appointments: There may be a charge for missed appointments or cancellations without 2 bussiness days' notice, $78 for a hygiene appointment, and $150 for an appointment with our doctors. Please note, our business days are Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday 8-5; Tuesday and Friday 7-2. Changes or cancellations would be appreciated during those times by calling 510-962-9530 so that we may best serve you and reschedule your appointment.

Automated Confirmation System: Our office uses an automated service that may text or email you to confirm your appointments with us. Please DO NOT use this service to cancel an appointment as we may not get that information in a timely manner, which would result in a missed appointment fee for you. You may always call our office at 510-962-9530 to cancel an appointment.

Payments: Payments are appreciated and due at the time of service. We do our very best to estimate your copayments for your treatment and will bill your insurance as a courtesy to you. In the case of crowns and other major services, payment is due at the first appointment. Payment must be paid in full no later than 30 days after your insurance pays our office. For your convenience, we gladly accept cash, checks, Visa, Mastercard, Discover, and Care Credit.

Finance Charges and Late Fees: If your account is outstanding for over sixty (60) days, your account will be charged 1.5% of your unpaid balance if not paid by the due date on your statement, and a late fee of $10 will be imposed.

Insurance: We are more than happy to bill your insurance as a courtesy to our patients, but please note that the entire sum of services rendered are still the responsibility of the patient. It is the patient's duty to be responsible for their policy restrictions, limitations, and coverage details. It is also the responsibility of the patient to inform the office of any changes to his/her dental insurance coverage.
